Exploring Houston, without an itinerary, resulted in marvelous meals and delicious drinks throughout the inner loop. There isn’t one particular “neighborhood” I would strongly recommend but I have several specific restaurants I would not miss!

Street murals and graffiti are not lacking in the city — once you have an eye for street art, it seems to be everywhere and Houston is no exception. I honestly wasn’t expecting to see so much but I was pleasantly surprised.
