Central California

Sequoia National Park

A land of giants.

Once again, snow chains were needed as we were unable to enter the park without them, and rightfully so, since all of the roads were completely covered in ice and snow. Made for quite the memorable adventure among the giants!

A few of our favorites

General Grant Tree
Grant Tree Trail which leads to the General Grant Tree, one of the three largest sequoias on Earth. It was a very easy walk, even in the ice and snow. We had fresh snow covered trees so it was stunning!

Reimer’s Candies & Gifts
Great ice cream and candies and a perfect place to buy nice gifts! They had the most amazing advent calendars.

Quesadilla Gorilla
An awesome food truck! Adorable outside eating area and fast service. Perfect after a long day in the park.
